Job Description
• Plan and manage the production process(equipment & personnel) during the shift within the area of responsibility
• Ensures On Time In Full execution of production orders to the correct Customer Specific Requirements and LEONI work instructions
• Achievement of shift targets with regular follow up during the shift (Quantity/quality / RFT/ Efficiency etc) and launch corrective actions for any deviations, using the required tools & methods (Kosu/8D/ PDCA QRQC etc)
• Ensure follow up of shift handover protocol (e.g. Recording / checking data in shift handover meeting / book)
• Ensures all visulisation within scope of control is maintained and updated
• Ensures regular exchange of information between departments during the shift (e.g. quality issues/ assembly issues/ plan deviations/ scrap/ missing material etc)
• Supports 5S improvements work place organisation and ergonomic improvements with supporting functions
• Ensures the correct management and handeling of material within scope of control (FIFO/ handeling/ storage etc)
• Actively supports continuious improvement activities within the plant(e.g. KATA, KAIZEN etc)
• Ensures people management within the shift for the target performance
• Ensures with training team employee qualification and polyvalance (job rotation)
• Supports related processes with people managment (AIP interviews/ absence management / disciplinary topics / recruitment/ vacation/ overtime/ bonus etc)
• Maintains and updates all required daily shift reports
• Ensures new team memebers are well integrated into the team and have correct support and coaching
• Performs performance review and validation of new employee at the end of the training/ probation period.
• Particpates in required segment / shift meetings / stand up etc to ensure communication through the shift
• Supports in all improvement projects launched (e.g. OPEX projects/ line balancing/ quality improvement etc)
• Collaborates with all required departments for the implementation of changes (customer driven or LEONI driven)
• Escalates according to defined escalation path, when needed
Qualifications and Experience
- Level of Education : University degree
- Experience: 3 year experience in wiring industry
- Leadership Experience : experience in wiring industry is apprciated
- Language : French & English
- IT: Microsoft Office
- Social competences: : Conflict Management /Feedback Skills /Moderation Skills / Negotiation Skills /Presentation Skills / Problem Solving Techniques /Project Managemen
